I love attending that one event each year where I get my dose of cotton candy. I love the stuff even though it's nothing but sugar and coloring. I was recently listening to the This American Life podcast and heard a great take on cotton candy from Mike Birbiglia:
"we'll take sugar which everyone knows is bad and then we'll dress it up to look like insulation..."
Mmm... insulation. :)
