Funny Houses

Isn't it interesting what people do with their homes? The other night I saw a bathroom in a basement that was literally the size of an airplane bathroom. First of all there was no sink. You opened the door and were directly in front of the toilet. To get to the (small) shower you stepped over the toilet. The shower door was like an airplane bathroom door that folds back on itself. It was really hard to understand why people would think it was a good idea to build a bathroom that was barely usable. Needless to say I'm still searching.

House Hunting

I've been considering buying a home for the last couple years and now I've finally decided that I am indeed going to do it! The funny thing is, now I'm totally impatient just to get it done. I've seen some places I like, so we'll see how it all pans out. I'm really excited to have a place where I can paint the walls a color other than white! Tamee's been a great open house companion and driver so far. Thanks, sis. I'll keep you all updated on my home quest.

Goal reached!

I finally got my bike out of the closet today, aired up the tires, and went for a ride. I've been telling myself I needed to do that all summer and here we are... It always feel good to do something you've been meaning to do, but just haven't gotten around to. It doesn't hurt that it's been a beautiful day!
