Fall is Here

The other night I was sitting out on the front steps of my house waiting for my sister to pick me up.  I could hear a bird rustling around in the tree above me, so I looked up and saw something quite beautiful.  The tree has what I call "helicopters" in it.  You know those seeds with a wing on them?  Anyway, the bird was knocking a lot of these helicopters out of the tree and they were an interesting sight to behold.  They would spin so quickly down to the ground; I just couldn't stop watching them.  I'm a bit sad that summer has ended, but the weather has been nice this week.  It was good to change my perspective and look up.
